Publication Ethics & Editorial Policy

Insight – An International Multilingual Journal for Arts and Humanities is committed to bring out authentic and original academic and research papers to create a platform for constructive dialogue to exchange innovative thoughts and ideas among the scholars and academicians. Therefore, the journal gives prime concern to the integrity and high quality of research papers and articles and expects same from the authors as well. To keep the standards, the authors have to meet the requirements of the Editorial Policy of the journal. The journal follows the guidelines of COPE. 

Submission of Manuscript

Authors should go through the ‘Guideline for Publication’ before submitting their research paper/Article for publication. Manuscript for the publication should follow the style and format as explained in the ‘Guideline for Publication’ Authors should mention their contact details in the manuscript. Once the manuscript is submitted after the approval of the final version of the manuscript, it is considered that the authors have gone through the manuscript and given their permission for the submission

Confidentiality

The Journal will not disclose the submitted manuscript to anyone except the persons who involve in the process of selection and publication of the manuscript. Therefore, manuscript will be a confidential material until its publication.

Peer Review

The journal exercises an editorial peer review process. The review process of the manuscript is an essential criterion before the publication of a research paper or an article. Immediately after we received the  research paper  we forward it to the  editorial board members of the concerned subject and language. They will check the manuscript including its language, content, methodology etc. After getting the reports the chief editors will take the final decision to publish the article.  The details of the report of the editors will intimate to the authors through mail. If needs they should resubmit manuscript after corrections for second peer review. Otherwise, the authors should submit the final copy of the manuscript after corrections/ suggestions within in 10-15 days. Only the review team has the right to ‘accept’ or ‘reject’ the manuscript. If the manuscript is ‘accepted’ or ‘rejected’, the author(s) is intimated of the decision taken by the review team. Apart from that the review team may request additional material during the review process and such materials would be scrutinized confidentially by them.

Concurrent Review

The policy of the journal Live Pen does not allow a research paper/article under review at the journal from being simultaneously reviewed at another journal without prior permission from the journal Insight.

Protecting Intellectual Property

The journal Insight is committed to the protection of Intellectual Property. The review team members will not provide the manuscript or supplementary materials to a third party without the permission of the author(s). Therefore, the identity of the author(s) and intellectual property remain secure with the journal

Plagiarism

The journal does not entertain any kind of plagiarism. All research papers/article will undergo plagiarism check before publication. If any kind of plagiarism occurred in the research paper/article, it would be liable to reject. Since there is no provision available now to check the article in Indian languages, the authors should produce an affidavit which ensure that their work is 90 % genuine. 

Publication Policy

There is no submission fee; however there is a reasonable publication for each accepted research paper/article to meet the cost of proof reading, editing, typesetting, office and administrative expenditure. The publication fee is Rs. 1200 (INR) for Indian author(s) and $ 30 (USD) for foreign authors.
